JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Stardust Crusaders

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Stardust Crusaders

Years after an ancient evil was salvaged from the depths of the sea, Joutarou Kuujou sits peacefully within a Japanese jail cell. He's committed no crime yet demands he not be released, believing he's been possessed by an evil spirit capable of harming those around him. Concerned for her son, Holly Kuujou asks her father, Joseph Joestar, to convince Joutarou to leave the prison. Joseph informs his grandson that the "evil spirit" is in fact something called a "Stand," the physical manifestation of one's fighting spirit which can adopt a variety of deadly forms. After a fiery brawl with Joseph's friend Mohammed Avdol, Joutarou is forced out of his cell and begins learning how to control the power of his Stand. However, when a Stand awakens within Holly and threatens to consume her in 50 days, Joutarou, his grandfather, and their allies must seek out and destroy the immortal vampire responsible for her condition. They must travel halfway across the world to Cairo, Egypt and along the way, do battle with ferocious Stand users set on thwarting them. If Joutarou and his allies fail in their mission, humanity is destined for a grim fate.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

In 1868, Dario Brando saves the life of an English nobleman, George Joestar. By taking in Dario's son Dio when the boy becomes fatherless, George hopes to repay the debt he owes to his savior. However Dio, unsatisfied with his station in life, aspires to seize the Joestar house for his own. Half a century later, in New York City, Jonathan's grandson Joseph Joestar discovers the legacy his grandfather left for him. When an archeological dig unearths the truth behind the stone mask, he realizes that he is the only one who can defeat the Pillar Men, mystical beings of immeasurable power who inadvertently began everything. Adapted from the first two arcs of Hirohiko Araki's outlandish manga series, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken follows the many thrilling expeditions of JoJo and his descendants. Whether it's facing off with the evil Dio, or combatting the sinister Pillar Men, there's always plenty of bizarre adventures in store.

Doraemon (US)

Doraemon (US)

Doraemon: Gadget Cat from the Future is the US English adaptation of the 2005 anime that has been airing since July 7, 2014 and has aired a total of 52 episodes as of 2015. Since February 1, 2016 ,the US adaptation airs bilingually in Japan on Disney Channel Japan. This dub takes many liberties from the original Japanese version. Besides using the name changes that were used in AltJapan's English adaptation of the original manga, other changes and edits have been made to make the show more relatable to an American audience, such as Japanese text being replaced with English text on certain objects like signs and graded papers, items such as yen notes being replaced by US dollar bills, and the setting being changed from Tokyo to a small town located somewhere in the United States.

Demon Slayer: The Hashira Meeting Arc

Demon Slayer: The Hashira Meeting Arc

The Hashira Training conducted by the Hashira is a special training session that aims to improve all Demon Slayers' abilities and physical health. The training is split between the Hashiras. First, the Sound Hashira, Uzui Tengen conducts training on basic stamina. Then, the Love Hashira, Kanroji Mitsuri handles flexibility training and the Mist Hashira, Muichirou Tokito, deals with the quick movement training. The Snake Hashira, Obanai Iguro, then focuses on sword skill revision, followed up by the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, who handles pounding training and finally the Rock Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, who trains muscle reinforcement. The Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho does not take part in the training. The majority of the Demon Slayers view the training session as an everlasting trip in hell, with the exception of Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira who see the session as a chance to improve themselves. As a general rule, Hashira must take part in each other's training sessions. It is considered a win-win situation for both the Hashira and the Demon Slayers as even the Hashira get to improve due to being constantly attacked by wave upon wave of juniors ranked lower than themselves.
